Brent Snow is a skilled learning designer and facilitator of strategic business simulations and scenario-based learning. His primary focus is business acumen, decision-making, and inclusive leadership.
During the last 20 years, Brent has developed and run specialized simulations and workshops in nearly 30 countries for numerous organizations including Apple, American Express, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Cargill, Caterpillar, Cleveland Clinic, Cliff Bar, Dow Jones, eBay, Estée Lauder, Givaudan, Graftec, Facebook, GE, Hilton Hotels, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, Kroger, Levi Strauss, Marsh McLennan, McGraw-Hill, Microsoft, Parsons Engineering, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Oracle, the Russian National Railroad, SAP, Space Systems Loral, SunPower, and Varian Medical Systems; and also for a number of universities including Stanford, Duke, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, Rochester Institute of Technology, Emory, Cornell, and the Stockholm School of Economics.
Brent’s design credits include The Interplay Simulation™, which was originally developed for Apple and Microsoft and was nominated as the single best learning experience in all of Scandinavia’s existing MBA programs; The Inclusive Leader/Maximizing the Mix™, which recently won two Branden Hall excellence awards; and Decision Mojo™, which is one of the few learning experiences directly targeting the critical skill of decision-making on both an individual and organizational level. Brent’s work has also been written about in Fortune, Fast Company and CIO Magazines, and has been televised internationally by the International Institute for Learning. Additionally, for three consecutive years, Brent was recognized as the #1 rated facilitator in Oracle’s worldwide array of leadership development courses.
Previously, Brent directed leadership development efforts within ITT Industries, led Outward Boundleadership courses for executives, and spent nearly a year attempting to sail around the world on a 71’ sailboat. Educationally, he has been trained at the University of Maine (Phi Beta Kappa), Harvard, and Syracuse University (where he was awarded two university fellowships).
Brent is based in Colorado and Maine. When not working, Brent participates in local short triathlons (he recently took 2nd in his age group, only to discover there were only two in his age group), skiing, biking, hiking, sailing, and is slowly learning to kite board. He also plays a bit of blues harmonica (thankfully mostly out of earshot).
