The Traveling Wilburys of consulting? “The band was born with five individuals with star stature in their own rights, but it was George Harrison who created the environment where these stars could enjoy an ego-free collaboration.” Everybody sang, everybody wrote, everybody produced – and had great fun doing so.
Writers write. Runners run. Change agents change. At EA, we’re changemakers. We choose to deliver work that matters a great deal to someone. We do work that we’re proud of. Solving intractable problems often requires that we dance on new frontiers.
Our goal is to be the advisory of choice for those special leaders who want to achieve true transformation, not just change. This is what unites us - our desire to do something new and unique, to leave companies in a better place than we found them.
As the operational improvement and advisory arm of the well-established venture capital firm, Empactful Capital (EC), we have the opportunity to flex across Fortune 500s and early / growth-stage private companies. This enables our practitioners to build their versatility over time, counseling both large and small organizations alike to help accelerate clients' most important strategic priorities.
Our symbiotic relationship with EC enables our advisory services to leverage an ecosystem built over decades and to deliver commercial, investor, and team development relationships to accelerate our clients’ priorities.
We have deep expertise in building award-winning cultures for our clients. Do you appreciate that feeling when internal firm culture mirrors the advisory work you’re doing with clients on the outside? That’s what we’re building here.
“Teamwork is the secret that makes common people achieve uncommon results.”
– Ifeanyi Onuoha
Our goal at EA is to be smarter, stronger, and more equipped to serve our clients through collaboration with partners like you. We invest deeply in training and development to ensure we exceed our clients’ expectations in each and every interaction.
At EA we engineer results as well as critical "a-ha" moments that change the trajectory of leaders and organizations. Want to become the benchmark for leading better, faster execution? Do you thrive in an environment that inspires innovation, collaboration, autonomy, mastery and diversity? We are looking for authors, not editors. Editing is safer, authors go first. Your best work might involve doing things you’ve never done before. Your part matters.
Empathy is foundational at EA, from how we collaborate as diverse teams of employees and clients, to ensuring an inclusive culture for the benefit of all those we serve. It's deeply important to us that our colleagues and client advisors have a sense of belonging, feel valued, and are heard.
Starting with our hiring process, we care about how you think, how you connect, and how you solve problems. We actively recruit people from diverse lived experiences and professional backgrounds to ensure our workplace is filled with a myriad of viewpoints and perspectives. At EA, the best idea wins - period.
It's our job to make sure you have meaningful work with exceptional clients, and in an environment that prioritizes your success, compels collaboration, and celebrates learning. We aren't just about helping companies make money, we're about helping clients do better in service of their passions and people.
To better understand your skills and superpowers we've developed a process that allows both you and us time to get to know one other.
We begin with a casual and fun opportunity to talk through real-life client problems and discuss approaches, potential solutions, and outcomes. You'll join a few other candidates for this small group conversation.
This step will assess how your experience stacks up against a set of predetermined competencies for a particular role. Typically 45 minutes in length, the goal is to determine if you’re a fit from both a skills and cultural standpoint.
Next, a deep dive into your three most recent positions.
Finally, we spend time on a specific skill set or area of interest where we need a bit more clarity.
