Cathy is a highly experienced consultant with special expertise in strategy formulation, leadership development and organization change. She loves to stand with her clients at the intersection of these three priorities – strategy, leadership and change. Her greatest passion is working with leaders and their teams at a deeper level to help them unlock their full potential.
In 2000, Cathy started her own coaching and consulting firm, Learning Paradigms, Inc. (LPI). LPI provides high-impact services to medium and large companies across many different industries, including health care, pharmaceuticals / life sciences, aviation, media, retail, and professional services. Over the last 20 years, she has partnered with a diverse group of Fortune 500 companies, including United Airlines, W. W. Grainger, Astellas Pharma, Walgreens, and AbbVie, to accelerate growth and expand capabilities.
Many of the mission-critical challenges that Cathy collaborates on with clients are big and complex. After almost thirty years in industry, she has become recognized for her ability to work visually with leaders in mapping out complicated business problems and developing customized solutions to drive large-scale change.
Cathy is also a certified Executive Coach and has worked alongside hundreds of leaders in a wide range of companies to help them advance their leadership while transforming their organizations. She has served as a trusted advisor to many of these leaders and is deeply invested in enabling them to perform at their highest possible levels.
Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology from Amherst College and a Master of Science in Organization Development and Worldwide Learning from Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy. She is a Professionally Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, she is certified in the use of Benchmarks and Executive Dimensions™, Team Management Profile™, the TypeCoach Verifier Communication & Influence System™, the Leadership Circle Profile 360™, the Balanced Scorecard™, HCI’s Human Capital Strategy Process™ and Brené Brown’s Daring Way, Rising Strong and Dare to Lead Methodologies.
