Some of these clients include: American Express, Bank of America, Canon, Citadel Investment Group, Goldman Sachs, International Flavors & Fragrances, John Deere, Johnson & Johnson, McKinsey, Novartis, Ogilvy & Mather, Penguin Random House, Pfizer, Quaker Oats Company, Thomson Reuters, UBS.
David’s work includes building competency models to enhance the selection and development of top performers; researching and developing employment or career brands that are creative, compelling and credible; undertaking in-depth client and stakeholder surveys to assess organizational effectiveness and market stature; conducting competitive analysis studies that focus on employment and staffing issues; designing comprehensive new employee orientation programs; formulating high-impact college relations strategies; analyzing performance appraisal needs and developing programs, processes and materials to meet those needs; and helping clients design and deliver management development programs for high-potential employees.
Prior to David starting his own firm, he was Senior Vice President and Global Competency Practice Leader at Brecker & Merryman and the Empower Group. Before his consulting career, David served as Vice Dean for Executive Education at the Wharton School and Director of Admissions for the MBA program at Penn.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University, David was the recipient of a Watson Fellowship for post-collegiate independent travel and study abroad. David has long been active in minority educational and employment programs and is a co-founder of the LEAD Program in Business. He is a former member of the Graduate Management Admission Council's National Minority Task Force. David has served on the boards of the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers, Trotman Ltd and the Brown University Alumni Association. David has served as Board Chair of Musica Sacra, New York’s legendary professional chorus, and Art Connects New York.
