Jim brings over 25 years of experience as a strategic sales leader, business development strategist, and healthcare technology advisor to the Empactful Advisors team.
Jim’s passion is leveraging his industry expertise to cultivate and grow early- and growth-stage digital health companies, and enable large healthcare organizations to progress on their strategic transformation journeys. Prior to his work at Empactful, Jim served as a Managing Director at Main Line Equity Partners where he leveraged his expertise to manage portfolio companies and support new investment opportunities within the healthcare vertical.
Previously, Jim served as an investor and business development leader with several mid-stage and startup companies, culminating in multiple exits totaling $250 Million + in enterprise value. Prior to Main Line, Jim was Vice President - Value Based Payments at Change Healthcare (post its acquisition of HealthQX). Prior to Change Healthcare, he served as EVP, Sales and Business Development at HealthQx, a leading provider of value-based payment analytics, bundled payment strategies, and provider network business intelligence (acquired by McKesson / Change in 2016). He also performed various sales and business development leadership roles at Glenridge HealthCare Solutions (acquired in 2014), MedSolutions and Portico Systems (acquired by McKesson Payer Solutions in 2011).
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics from Villanova University, and serves on the Board of Consultors at Villanova’s Fitzpatrick School of Nursing.
