A seasoned strategic agility, business transformation, and turnaround expert, Justin has a well-developed love for speed. He’s worked with leadership teams and organizations in over 20 countries to accelerate their most critical business strategies – typically at velocities his clients initially find unimaginable.
Delivering strategic results, both with agility and at scale, requires rewriting an organization’s DNA. It touches every level of a business, from top and bottom-line results, to helping leaders create the right conditions for change, to developing an adaptive and achievement-oriented culture necessary to win. This is Justin’s superpower.
Justin is also an expert at bridging the strategy-execution gap, and has led and supported engagements delivering over $3.07 billion in employee-led revenue and cost enhancements. Additionally, he serves as an advisor and co-strategist to CEOs and their leadership teams, often operating as a proxy Chief Transformation Officer.
Prior to co-founding Empactful Advisors, Justin was a Managing Director supporting Dr. John Kotter’s firm in leading their largest and most complex global transformation engagements. Just prior, he was a partner in a management consulting firm. His early career began by specializing in corporate and performance turnarounds, and later broadened into a practice that includes building award-winning cultures alongside sustainable leadership initiatives.
Justin’s client list is a Fortune 500 who's who including 3M, Astellas Pharma, Chevron, Cleveland-Cliffs, Citigroup, ConAgra Foods, Cox Automotive, ExxonMobil, Merck, Vallourec, and Zurich Financial Services. In addition to his client work, Justin is a published business writer, guest lecturer, and keynote speaker. He earned his master’s degree from Columbia University in organizational psychology, with an emphasis in organizational change. He completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in biology and chemistry, at the University of San Diego.
