Katie is an experienced C-suite executive, consultant, and coach with over 35 years of experience. As a Brit-American she’s worked in almost every continent.
She has deep expertise in human and systems-wide organizational development, strategy development, talent development and learning, leading transformations, diversity, and driving change. Her practitioner career spans global executive roles including as Global CHRO of Russell Investments, senior talent and learning roles in investment banking and ten years spent in international business consulting advising Fortune 500 clients around the world. Her last corporate role was Global Head of Culture Change and Engagement at UBS investment bank. At UBS she helped design and facilitate executive development for the top 200 leaders in the group, senior leadership within the investment bank and designed and led large-scale culture events. Over the last five years she has built deep experience in working with founder led and entrepreneurial ventures.
Katie regularly carries out one-one-one executive coaching, small group coaching, team and peer group coaching. She has particular expertise as a career coach and in resolving interpersonal conflict. She designed and facilitated coaching and leadership development assignments at British Aerospace (top 50), Morgan Stanley and Citigroup (top investment bank leadership), Rolls Royce (top 100) and UBS, among others. She’s qualified in a wide variety of psychometric instruments including Hogan, EQ 2.Oi and MBTI, and trained at world renowned Tavistock Institute in London. She teaches on the Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting and Human Capital master’s programs at New York University, where she also carries out primary academic research. She is published in many top management journals. She was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the Women’s and Public Policy Program.
Katie has a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Bristol Business School, University of the West of England, a Masters in Coaching and Consulting for Change from INSEAD, a BA and MA in History from Cambridge University, and a Masters in Fine Arts, Creative Writing from Naropa University.
