Lucas Barrowman

Lucas is a finance executive with over 15 years of experience working with the founders and executives of private companies to achieve their vision and drive financial success. He has deep experience in professional services, supporting partners and management teams as they grow their businesses both organically and through M&A.
Lucas has a strong business and financial background with expertise across disciplines – finance, accounting, R&D, operations, HR and corporate development. He has extensive experience building and leading teams in high-growth environments, both domestically and internationally. Lucas has also helped companies build out their teams, scale operating and accounting functions, develop and execute strategic financial plans, build and maintain operating budgets, deliver new services, and ultimately overcome the financial and operational challenges that come with building a successful business.
Most recently Lucas was the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development for Propeller Industries, the leading provider of outsourced finance and accounting services to high-growth companies across the United States. His work spanned the business globally: strategy, finance, M&A, international operations, client services, product development, and sales. He was also a member of the executive leadership team and worked closely with the broader senior leadership team, board members and private equity sponsors. He focused on long-term growth strategy and led all corporate development efforts, including new market entry and M&A strategy, diligence, and execution.
Previously Lucas led the transformation and management of Propeller’s global accounting team as it more than doubled in size to 200+ people in three countries, while also acting as a client-facing CFO. Prior to Propeller, Lucas held roles as an outsourced CFO, corporate operations and HR leader, and corporate financial analyst and management consultant.
