Rhonda founded Waters Learning and Development in 1997, and for over two decades, she has been delivering customized coaching, training and development to global organizations seeking growth at all levels. In addition, she was an elite performance coach with The Human Performance Institute for 16 years, specializing in energy and resilience. Throughout her career, Rhonda has travelled the world providing the support and tools necessary for leaders and teams to evolve and grow by defining their purpose, identifying who or what deserves their full and best energy, and creating sustainable high-performance habits.
The leaders of today are facing the challenge of re-writing the script for their organizations and their employee experience and re-defining the leader of the future. Leaders are tasked with creating high performance cultures, but traditional tools of command and control are not suited to today’s demands. Rhonda offers a new tool kit - one that includes tools to help manage and expand energy capacity to fuel high performance and grow resilience, both individually and organizationally. She supports leaders in creating an energized culture that emphasizes the power of purpose, well-being, resilience, connections and curiosity. Rhonda has coached and trained leaders at all stages of their leadership journey, from high potential individual contributors to the C-Suite.
Rhonda’s client list ranges from Fortune 100 and 500 companies to non-profits and educational institutions, including GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, Deloitte, Nationwide Insurance, Johnson & Johnson, Starbucks, Genentech, General Electric, Chevron, AholdDelhaize, Lockheed Martin, and John Deere. Rhonda earned her master’s degree from North Carolina State University in Adult Education and Training and Development, with a minor in organizational psychology. In addition, she completed her bachelor’s degree in English Education with a minor in psychology at Appalachian State University. She has completed numerous advanced training programs and has certifications from various professional organizations in psychological assessments, coaching, and curriculum design and is a certified group exercise instructor.
